Today we met Garrett's teachers and he officially starts school on September 3rd! I cannot believe that he is starting pre-k again and next year he will be an even bigger boy in kindergarten! :) He has officially grown out of his 4T pants which are highwaters on him and is into the 5T. He went to the pediatrician yesterday to check out a cough that has been holding on and our heavy weight champ weighed in at 41.5 lbs! He is now able to fit into a booster seat which will be our next shopping mission. Our next post will have to have a first day of school photo on it. The sapps have been busy in the home improvements projects. Brent and Garrett have painted the barn in the back red and white (Georgia colors) and have been working on other yard projects such as weeding and clearing out the back 40 or unwanted plants and trees. Heather works on the weeding as best she can but right now her littlest sappling needs a lot of her time so she does what she can outside and does more inside while Ethan James is napping. :) The biggest project at the sapp right now is painting the basement which Heather and Brent are diligently working on. This will be a now and continued fall project and then we might tackle the kitchen. We are winding down on the outdoor projects because of the weather getting cooler. The leaves will probably be our next big endeavor. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods and we will chat again later! Right now our two main exhibits are demanding attention so the curator must go! :)
